Ormiston Humanitarian Appeal

Wear it Blue and Yellow Day – Wednesday 23rd March 

We are proud to be taking part in OATs National Fundraiser to support the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

We have had some questions raised by parents and students around the guidance for tomorrow’s event; hopefully this will answer those:

  • Students need to wear both yellow AND blue 
  • If taking part, uniform does not need to be worn with blue and yellow clothes
  • If wearing blue and yellow accessories instead of clothing this needs to be with full uniform 
  • Blue jeans are acceptable 
  • For those choosing not to take part full uniform including footwear to be worn
  • Footwear does not need to be blue and yellow if taking part – trainers can be worn 
  • Face paints is acceptable but if not wearing blue AND yellow clothes with face paint full uniform must be worn 
  • No blue and yellow hair colouring as this can be difficult to get out for the following school day
  • If you don’t wish to take part, you can still donate to this very worthy cause
  • £1 donations will be collected during form time or can be given to student reception
