Drama

In all three Drama units you will learn about how theatre is created. You spend a significant amount of time developing your own acting skills as well as analysing professional performances and learning about each of the job roles in theatre. You will develop your skills across several performance styles and log your progress throughout.

You will also visit local theatres to watch performances and access digital resources to develop your understand all the production elements of theatre. You will take part in practical lessons as well as more in-depth workshops and record your progress through the use of an actor’s log. You will also perform and create presentations to demonstrate your understanding as well as produce written evidence of your own creative processes throughout the course.
