Remote Learning

Remote education provision: information for parents and carers

In accordance with statutory guidelines, the Department for Education (DfE) ask that schools provide information on remote education provision. It is aligned to the expectations for remote education, to which schools must have regard under the temporary continuity direction given by the Secretary of State for Education. This information is intended to provide clarity and transparency to pupils, parents and carers about what to expect from remote education if Covid-19 local/national restrictions require them to remain at home and/or if they need to self-isolate. Please refer to the remote education guidance document below for full details about the remote education provisions.

Question: How do I know when I have a live lesson?

Firstly,  your teacher will tell you when setting the work in Show My Homework when your live lesson is and will add the link to the Teams meeting too. You can just click that link and it will take you straight to the meeting.

To get a view of all the live lessons you have each day/week you need to click on calendar in Teams. This will show all the meeting invites you have been sent.
