Learning Resources Centre

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) provides a friendly, supportive environment where the Learning Resources Manager is on hand to assist students. There is space suitable for group study, individual private study, quiet reading and class visits.

Students have access to fiction and non-fiction books, DVDs, journal articles, computers and printing facilities. All students become members of the LRC and are welcome to visit to read, borrow books and complete and print out work. There is no charge to students for using the facilities.

Students are allowed to borrow up to three items. Most books are available for a two week loan period. Items can be renewed if students have not yet finished with them and need to have them for a longer period.

The Learning Resource Centre (LRC) is open Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.00pm. Students are welcome during break and lunch-times and before and after school.

We hold after school and homework clubs every day in the LRC. There is always a librarian on hand to answer any queries or help find answers. The sessions are from 2.50pm to 4.00pm and everyone is welcome.

Some of the most popular clubs are Magic the Gathering, Anime film club, creative writing and we are always open to new ideas!

Free refreshments are provided.
