| Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Apprenticeship |
| As a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Apprentice in Product Assembly you will work at one of JCB’s UK facilities, where you will develop the knowledge and practical skills to assemble, rectify and continuously improve JCB procedures, and become a skilled JCB Assembly Operative; skills which are in high demand across the JCB Group. At JCB we are always looking for a better way and being a Lean Manufacturing trainee will allow you to help implement change for the better, removing non value added work allowing JCB to streamline the processes in assembly. You will be able to record and help standardise this across the group, using Kaizen activity sheets. |

| Level 3 Material Technician |
| Are you an organised individual? If so, Material Planning is something for you to consider. The team is responsible for ensuring continuity of supply for parts to ensure our fast-paced production line keeps running. This involves ordering and expediting parts in line with the operations systems in accordance with the planning lead times. You will have the opportunity to work closely with local and international suppliers to ensure parts are delivered on time. It will be up to you to build and develop relationships with suppliers, ensuring that they are able to turn around our requirements to the perfect quality at the perfect price, and within the perfect timeframe. As well as working with external suppliers, you will have the chance to work with several internal functions within the organisation to solve problems when issues arise. |

| Our experienced team are responsible for identifying and closing out quality issues for both internal customers and the end user. You will have the opportunity to support the component manufacturing and assembly lines in problem investigating and resolution. As well as working with external suppliers to improve overall quality performance, you will have the chance to attend daily production meetings to ensure any issues are contained, investigated and resolved ensuring opportunities for improvement are identified. This position is key in continually improving productivity by gaining an understanding of how to use cutting edge scanning equipment to identify flaws in supplier parts. |
